La gran colonia permanente de 100.000 Flamencos Australes de la laguna Mar Chiquita, en el NE de la provincia de Córdoba, no ha criado este verano. No es la primera vez que esto ocurre, pero ciertamente es inusual. Aún no se conocen las causas.La laguna es uno de los 5 lagos salados más grandes del mundo, es el mayor espejo de agua de Argentina, y junto con los bañados del Río Dulce constituye uno de los sitios “Ramsar” de la Argentina, que protege humedales de alta biodiversidad.
