Fotógrafo desde hace màs de 40 años, cuenta con un importante archivo fotográfico documental de la ciudad de La Banda, actualmente se dedica a registrar la Flora y la Fauna de Santiago del Estero, especialmente de la Ciudad y del departamento Banda; ha realizado exposiciones en diferentes ámbitos, ha publicado en diferentes medios gráficos y digitales.

Además realiza el registro de esta temática en diferentes soportes, tales como el video y audio complementando el trabajo fotográfico.

Reconocido por su labor por la Honorable Cámara de Diputados de la Provincia de Sgo. del Estero a través de distinciones y premios y de diferentes instituciones y organizaciones. Es además, socio de la Fundación Vida Silvestre Argentina, Aves Argentinas y colabora con los sitios en Internet de Foto Natura, Foto Naturaleza, Ser Docente, entre otros.

Actualmente se encuentra preparando un video documental sobre la flora y la fauna local.

Su meta es promover la naturaleza como un arte y de esta manera alentar a su conservación.

A través de la fotografía junto a su compañero Dante Soria, creó el O.F.F.S.E. (Observadores de la Flora y Fauna de Santiago del Estero), y busca que la gente aprenda y se involucre. Dice él: “sino conocemos lo que debemos cuidar, no es posible protegerlo; la educación es la base, Los que ejercemos esta profesión estamos convencidos de que la fotografía de la naturaleza puede lograr grandes resultados respecto de la conservación y esperan ser parte de ello”; sostiene.

Además de contar con un vasto material de imágenes documentales, su objetivo es retratar a la naturaleza desde un punto de vista artístico, que trascienda lo documental. Intenta ir siempre un poco más allá: busca sorprender y sobre todo impactar en aquellas personas que no necesariamente están interiorizadas en temas ecológicos o de conservación. Su meta es: que haya una imagen de la naturaleza en cada casa, en cada galería de arte, en cada espacio cultural, no solo para promover la naturaleza como un arte sino, además, generar un interés espontáneo en la misma para que todos se involucren en divulgar respeto por ella y entiendan la importancia de protegerlo.

Jorge Emir Llugdar, (fotógrafo), difunde mediante una muestra interactiva e itinerante que cuenta con treinta fotografías y videos, todo lo referente a la flora y fauna de la Provincia de Santiago del Estero, en escuelas primarias y secundarias, profesorados, instituciones, etc., del interior provincial en forma totalmente gratuita.

Hoy estos espacios le permite acercarse a las personas que disfrutan como el de este pasatiempo que después se convierte en una forma de vida.
